1:1 support that works for young people.

Since November 2020, we have been delivering a successful Employability Project based at the YMCA North London. The project was set up in response to concerns from young people about their future employment prospects.

The aim of our work is to support disadvantaged young people on their journey towards employment. Our comprehensive and varied project enables them to learn new skills and develop their strengths.

Throughout the year, the young people benefit from individual support from our dedicated Employment Coach. They receive a professional CV tailored to their desired industry. We also offer support with job search, completing application forms and interview coaching to increase their chances of success.

Our Employment Coach works regularly with our young people to build their self-esteem and identify their future goals.

We are delighted to have helped so many participants to secure a range of positions. Our Employment Coach is always available to provide ongoing support to help them to progress in their new roles.

Moving forward into employment doesn’t have to be stressful with our friendly support service. Our approachable expert offers a professional CV / Profile writing service, relaxed interview coaching and support finding a placement, all via 1:1 sessions. This is an opportunity to feel more confident, positive and motivated about stepping forward in your career path – no matter what stage you are at in your work journey, all are welcome and we’d love to help you.
